    Hi Sakae,

Do the CUDA errors occur during processing or when using the user interface (e.g. Ruler)? I would expect CUDA errors to be during processing but wanted to confirm.

What type of GPU card do you have, and are you running any custom physics models?

If you go to EDEM Creator Tools > Options > Simulator Engine CUDA and 'device start test' does this produce any errors? Could you copy the output.

Generally best advice is to update GPU drivers from the Nvidia site if you are seeing issues.

    Regards

    Hi stephen

Thank you for your quick reply, I answer below.

    >Do the CUDA errors occur during processing or when using the user interface (e.g. Ruler)?

Errors occur both situation, Error 1,2,3 occur during processing, Error4 occur when I use interface.

    >What type of GPU card do you have, and are you running any custom physics models?

We have GV100, but I didn't run custom physics model.

    >If you go to EDEM Creator Tools > Options > Simulator Engine CUDA and 'device start test' does this produce any errors? Could you copy the output.

Regarding Error 1,2,3 , I have Checked "device start test" before stating simulation. I haven't seen error message like below

    • Before simulation

    • After simulation falied

    >Generally best advice is to update GPU drivers from the Nvidia site if you are seeing issues.

Does GPU driver mean below one ? I got this from Nvidia app.

But I noticed that driver version which is shown on "device start test" looks difference from this.

It will be a main reason for this matter?

    Thank you so much

Hi, it does look like the 572.83 driver is the up to date one. I'd try reinstalling this just in case there was an issue, as it seems there is some instability in the system.

What operating system ar you using (which version of windows)? Are you connecting to the machine via a remote desktop or docking station? If so can you see if connecting a screen directly to the machine allows it to run OK, as sometimes the docking station or remote desktop can have graphics issues and needs updating.

    Hi stephen

Thank you for your quick reply.

I will try to re-install GPU driver with DDU.

If I find new clues on this matter, I will ask you guys again.
