How to Import Forces and Moments with Two Spot Welds in Simsolid

I am currently using Simsolid V2024.1 and looking for an option to import forces and moments when there are two spot welds. The current process involves manually selecting the spots, which is time-consuming. I would appreciate guidance on how to streamline this process. I have around ~ 100 spots wondering if there is a easy way of doing

Hello,

1- You can select all the spots at once by selecting only the spot in the Selection filter and then performing box selection with Ctrl and Mouse left button while in the Remote Load window.

2- You can perform the import remote load operation with a file with .csv file extension using this tool.

is it Possible to Export the ALL Spot weld Location information to a CSV file .

I need Spotweld name,X,Y,Z

For create Spotweld, if you use the Spotweld tool instead of the Spot tool, you can import location information and export the welds you created as .csv.

Most of the spot welds are not circular shapes. so I created them manually in simsolid.

Few are created based on

-Rectangle Option

-Spot On Cylinder

I go to spot weld Information » Right Click » Info to get Spot X,Y,Z

From this X,Y,Z info I am interested to export as CSV format
The next step is using the CSV add force and Moment Information and re-import as " Import remote Load" as CSV format

Is there option to export all the spot weld information from simsolid as the following header

Spotname,X,Y,Z

Basically I have More spots in my Model.

Is there a reason why you want to export the spot locations (X,Y,Z) especially as .csv?
You can already select all the spots using box selection with the selection filter I showed in Remote Load, unless there is another reason to export with .csv extension.

There is no other way to export spot locations.

The reason I want to export as CSV is as follows.

If the spot is circular planar shape with a given Diameter then I know my X,Y,Z location and Spot Diameter.

If its something like this as shown below , I need to know the center of the the both Ears/Boss Holes (A and B) the Load is applied at the Point C. Basically I have 20 + Load cases where I would like to apply loads and moment at this location. This is one spot location. I have many in my Model

Currently My loads are based on the Following header format . Here X,Y,Z is the location C

To know the Location of A and B , I am looking for the Info table at the spot location

When two opposite ears are selected, the force or moment to be applied occurs in the middle of the two.
Unfortunately, this is all I can suggest right now. Good luck.

Thank you so much Yigit. Understood. Yeah Its manual steps. it works for a single component / 2-3 load cases. and 2-3 locations. for a complete structure it takes time
