IPM stator circuit

Description: Hi, i'm running the example "Brushless IPM motor (embedded magnets), and i dont really understand the circuit in there.

What are the role of coil conductor and the 2-terminal solid conductor in this circuit ?
Can you show me the circuit equation ?
Do you think the first image was developed from the second image?

The coil conductor represent the winding of the motor and the 2-terminal solid conductor are assigned to Magnet region. Representing the Magnets as solid conductor in this examples help user to determine the Magnet losses. Refer post processing of Constant speed- Slide 30 in the example- overview document.
You can consider the equivalent Circuit of IPM machines. [ In this example, Solid conductor are connected with high resistances, there will be no significant impact due to this representation- The whole purpose of this is to evaluate magnet losses]
No, the coil conductor circuit alone is sufficient to run the simulation. You can remove solid conductors and assign the magnet regions back to magnet non-conducting region and run the simulation. Only difference will be you cannot measure losses in Magnets.
