I built the half-bridge, and I want to calculate the different the loss ,and using the mos to replace the igbt. I don't know how to calculate the different losses and set the positive and negative gate drive.
@Ceasar could you please let me know the product its related to? I can tag it so it reaches the correct expert. Always tag your questions with product tags for quicker response.
@Ceasar Have you resolved this issue?
this looks like PSIM to me.
Hi @Ceasar ,
For Calculating loss, you need to use thermal models. To know about thermal models and loss calculation, please watch following tutorial:

Hi there,
In both MOSFETs and IGBTs, power losses can be broadly categorized into conduction losses and switching losses. To accurately estimate these losses, you’ll need to refer to specific parameters from the device's datasheet, including:
Drain-source resistance for MOSFETs
Voltage drop for IGBTs
Parasitic capacitances, such as:
Gate-to-source capacitance
Gate-to-drain capacitance
Output capacitance
These parameters, when combined with your application conditions (such as drain current, drain-to-source voltage, switching frequency, and gate drive characteristics) will allow you to estimate total power losses.
Hope this helps.
