Student Edition on Lab PC

Hi,

As a University, we've received a request from one of our students to install the free Student Edition of Altair onto some PC's in one of our engineer labs (so that anyone accessing those PC's can use it).

I've had a look online and I can't find any specific licence details about this other than the Student Edition can't be used for commercial purposes.

 

Can someone confirm or not if the licencing allows for this - or is the Student Edition strictly for home use only to be installed on their own computer?

    No, you can not use Student Edition for commercial projects. Futhermore, from point of technical view the Student Edition has some limits of features.
