Hyperworks v14 student license error
Altair EmployeeHello, I get the following error when I try to run the hyperworks software. I have placed the license file in the required file directory. However, I still get the error even though it is there.

Copying and pasting Ethernet ID to license file doesn't help.
You need to apply for a new license using the correct Ethernet ID.

Can you check whether the Ethernet ID of your machine matches with the Ethernet ID used for license?
If both Ethernet IDs are same, Use windows folder options > unhide known extensions, to make sure the file is named altair_lic.dat and not altair_lic.dat.dat,
