Hyperworks ethernet individuation problem

Hi,

 

I asked for a student license and everything went smoothly. However, after installation, Hyperworks cannot run due to license problem (error 9). I guess that, although the host id I communicated was right, the existence of several ethernet ports (none called 'Ethernet adapter local area connection') can be the issue. The ethernet host ID was 001517E8F289 and this is what is read from ipconfig /all command. How the issue can be fixed?

    I knew the topic you suggested and I read it carefully before writing, making all checks.

     

    I believe the software is unable to find the right ethernet address as the 'Ethernet adapter local area connection' does not exist as I wrote before.

     

    Any suggestion on how the tell the sw which is physical address to consider?

    Hi G Ventura,

     

    I can see that there are two LAN Ethernet IDs in your IPCOMFIG/ALL.

     

    The license was generated with the first one. Can you apply for a license with the other LAN Ethernet ID (00-15-17-E8-F2-88)?

     

    Please share the order ID once you have applied for a new license file using the above Ethernet ID.

    Hi,

     

    I have placed the new order, its number is 26050. The strange thing is that the LAN Ethernet ID I used is the one reported by Altair's tool. Possibly the tool and the software have a different algorithm for detecting the ethernet ID. I will report about the situation after getting the new license.

    Hi,

     

    I received the new license file and I replaced it into the path as below, however it still doesn't work with the following message:
