help to deactivate of student licence so it can be transferred to different computer

Hello, my computer motherboard no longer works and I can't deactivate my student license. I've moved the hard drive to a new computer and would like some help in deactivating my license so I can reactivate it on the new computer. Can someone please help?

    HI,

    Your previous license key activation is now deactivated in Altair one, you can now reactivate the student license with the same license key.

    Deactivation and reactivation feature is only if a computer breaks down and is only allowed a few times per user.

    You can deactivate the license from one machine and reactivate in another by yourself if you have access to both machines as per –

    Hello,

    You don't have to deactivate your license, but you need to request a new license based on your new system information (Hardware such as Wifi, hard disk driver).

    As you know, the Altair license uses/is linked to your system information. If there is some issue with your hardware which your license is linked to and you cannot use the license, then you need to get a new license file.

    If you have a new license, you can replace the old one with the new or can locate it on the new hardware.
