License Problems

Hi :]

 

I've just installed the Hyperworks studentedition as it says in the installation guide.

Now I've got the problem that when I put the license in the security folder and start Hyperworks then my screen turns black and I have to shut down my pc.

When I don't put the license i the security folder I can open Hyperworks but it says that the license is missing.

 

So what did I wrong?

    Hi,

     

    What is the error message you get? can you share a snapshot of the error message?

     

    If the error says, Error Code: 6, please check the below:

     

    1)      Check the license file name. It should be altair_lic.dat. If the license file name is altair_lic.dat and you still get the error, rename the license file to altair_lic (remove .dat)

     

    2)      Check whether the Ethernet ID of your machine matches with Ethernet ID in license file.

     

    3)      Remove Environment variable ALTAIR_LICENSE_PATH if you have given already. Go to My ComputeràRight ClickàPropertiesàAdvancedàEnvironment variablesàUnder system variable Delete

    Variable name: ALTAIR_LICENSE_PATH
