Due to electromagnetic losses, objects can heat up. This tutorial will teach you how to export the losses and the geometry from Feko, and set up a steady-state thermal simulation in OptiStruct. The tutorial assumes you are familiar with Feko but new to OptiStruct. Project files are included.

The attached file with "Transient" in the name contains a tutorial and project files for a transient thermal simulation in HyperMesh OptiStruct. An antenna is excited electrically for 10 minutes. We analyze how it heats up during those ten minutes, and then how is cools during the next ten minutes.
