Simsolid: Assessing a bolted clevis joint with a clevis gap.

Hi,
I am assessing a bolted clevis joint, which by definition requires the clevis to be wider than the component its clamping to allow the part to be fitted.
I want to be able to apply a torque to the bolt, which will first close the clevis gap and then create a preload within the bolt. This is to understand how much force is required to close the clevis, and then understand how the joint materials perform in the clamped condition.
I am struggling to find the correct connection type(s) to allow me to simulate the clevis closure correctly - I'm either having the clevis close through the clamped component until both sides meet (obviously incorrect), or its showing deformation and strain etc but not closing the gap.
If anyone can advise where I am going wrong I would be very grateful.
