Random Response Extension for HM and HV

Overview:

This extension serves as a post-processing tool requiring only an FRF subcase file and a CSV file with the PSD load curve. Key details:

Supported OS: Windows and Linux
Supported Solvers: OptiStruct(H3D and OP2), Nastran(OP2)
Clients: HyperMesh and HyperView
Minimum Version Required: 2024

Note: From version 2025.1 Random Response tool is available in HyperMesh Post and HyperView! Please use this instead of the extension.

Usage/Installation Instructions:

1. Unzip random_response.zip

2. Register the extension in HyperMesh or HyperView via File>Extensions.

3. Once registered, the extension will appear in the Extension Manager. You can click on View Documentation to view detailed documentation for the usage of the extension.

4. Enable the extension using the toggle button. A new Random Response ribbon will appear.

5. Click Random Response to start
