No Ethernet Port

Cant find Ethernet ID in Dell Inspiron 5578,as there is no Ethernet port for this laptop…

Instead I have given my “ Lan Adapter  physical address” and placed an order for student edition downlolads…

Physical address in my altair_lic.dat file is same as in my “lan adapter physical address”

 

After installation and placing the altair_lic.dat file in security folder, license error window popup when I open HW….

Plz do refer attachments….

“Ipconfig file” & “Altair_lic.dat”……

 

I have gone through all references…web, videos,….regarding license error

Cant find solution for this problem….

    Please request for another license with 84-EF-18-66-4A-E5

    Make sure you have your wifi on when using the software,

    Hi Rahul,

     

    I have the same problem with my new HP Pavilion x360 14-ba103ng, that also doesn't have a physical ethernet port. What address should I request a new license for? And is it still possible to refresh a HW14 license or do I need to do a new registration for HW2017?

    You need to request again here http://studentedition.altair.com/

    you can use the Wireless LAN adapter Wi-Fi address.
