Altair Extrusion Mathematical models and theory

hello!
I am currently learing Altair Extrusion and would like to understand the underlying mathematical models better. Is it possible to view the equations or the detailed calculation methodology that the software uses for extrusion simulations? I am particularly interested in the mathematical approach for the extrusion process and how the software models it.

SAM International (2000)
It complements the book by Laue and Stenger. It covers some recent topics, but it is more from a production point of view.
Fundamentals of Extrusion
Klaus Muller and 12 co-authors
Giesel Verlag
It covers the theory of extrusion, die design, troubleshooting, and process optimization. It is an excellent source, capturing the knowledge of 13 industry experts and researchers in one book.
