Hello everywone,

I try to realiser the simulation to understan this publication:

A. E. Yousfi, K. Atia Abdalmalak, A. Lamkaddem and D. S. Vargas, "Miniaturized Broadband dual-polarized Dielectric Resonator Antenna Using Characteristic Modes," 2023 17th European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EuCAP), Florence, Italy, 2023, pp. 1-4, doi: 10.23919/EuCAP57121.2023.10132916. keywords: {Shape;Simulation;Resonant frequency;Massive MIMO;Dielectric resonator antennas;Broadband communication;Dielectrics;compact;broadband;DRA;CMA},

I am trying to find out how to simulate a cubic dielcric (CMA configuration) with a coaxial probe in the shape of the DR with an infinite ground plane as in the publication.

Thank you ;)

    Hi @Romain_A,

For reference, you can check the example Dielectric Resonator Antenna on Finite Ground that includes different steps to create such a model using a pin feed and also includes a characteristic mode analysis.

Additionally, you can load the pre-constructed models mentioned in the example from the application macro library in CADFEKO.

    Best Regards,
