Export SPC forces in SimLab

Hello,

I want to export the SPC forces from the simulation. I found an option called "Query results" in the results section, but I don’t know how to export them for all the time steps in the simulation. Is there a way to export all these forces over time for some shell elements? Is there any way to plot this?

depending on what you're aiming to do, I'd prefer to request these directly from the solver, in case, OptiStruct, requesting SPCF(OPTI)=ALL

This would write the SPCForces into a .spcf ASCII file with all the data, or optionally you could define a node set to export the data.

Thank you for your reply. I am a new user so I don't know how I can ask the solver directly. In my case, I use OptiStruct and I have the results of a bidirectional coupling, but I don't know where to use the command you mentioned. If you could send me a screenshot or something like that, it would be very valuable. Regards best.

    hi,

inside SL, once you have a solution, you need to add Result request, and select OPTI as format and add SPCFORCE (Contraint force)
