How can the rotational joints of a robotic arm be represented in HyperMesh?

At school, I was tasked with performing a finite element analysis, and I chose a robotic arm as the model for this assignment. I would like to ask whether I should use afixtureor another method to represent the rotational joints at the corresponding locations in HyperMesh? How can these joints be modeled to accurately reflect their rotational behavior?

    Hello @NguyenDuy,

you should be able to use mechanisms here:

It can apply not only to seats but to any system involving mechanisms.

That said, what kind of analysis do you intend to run. If you are interested in the kinematics of the robotic arm, InspireMotion, or MotionView/MotionSolve would be better suited

    Best Regards,

    Michael

    Hi @NguyenDuy

Maybe you are looking for Jointg?
