Automatic memory expansion failed.
Currently allocated memory is 62150 MB.
Automatic expansion failed to expand to 3991242 MB.
Solver will try to use more external storage.

This error occurs in module "eigdrv".

Request for memory resize from 62150 to 3991242 MB
Resize failed.

(Above error is in .stat file)

I am using HM and Optistruct 2023 version

    Hi Rosh

    Looks like your model is way to big for the machine you have.
    I doubt that you have a machine with 4TB of RAM. 😉
    You need to reduce your model size.

    Here are some suggestions:

    -use coarser mesh

    -use symmetry half/quarter model if possible

    -use superelements

    -use simpler elements if possible (e.g. 1st order solids, shells, beams..)

    -reduce your output request to absolute necessary

    -always use latest available version
