Export element data for topology optimization analysis in hyperworks
Hey there! I need some help with exporting data of my object and results in hyperworks. I wish to export the data of elements which includes their coordinates or some spacial indication, which nodes/elements experience fixed constraint boundary condition, which nodes/elements experience load applied, and finally when we get topology optimised objects, we would like elemental densities.
Kindly help with this. Thank you in advance :)

Hi,
From Hyperview, you can always export the deformed shape.
Regarding Elemental densities in Topology optimization, You can run the comp.tcl or ent.tcl to get elements organized into components or sets depending on their optimized densities.
Thanks…

Hi Rajashri thank you for answering this, Could you tell in more detail how and which option. I could not figure it out myself. Both exporting the deformed shape and the 'comp.tcl' / 'ent.tcl' thing. Also i am not looking for deformed shape, just my input object with its boundary conditions (it could even be a csv file denoting corresponding to each element if that element experiences load or fixed constraint) and my topology optimised shape or the final output i viewed in hyperview where i saw densities corresponding to each element. I did export a '.tcl' file from iso output and contour output but i am not sure if that would be useful or how to exactly integrate it with my input.

Hi Shantanu,
comp.tcl gets generated after optimization is complete. You can just load it back in hypermesh to get element densities segregated. See the attached video for this.
