Can't find HyperGraph Tools menu in new interface
After searching around online and in HyperWorks help, I can not find where the tool to update the source files for plots in a HyperGraph session is in the new interface.
In the old interface it was under Tools>Replace Filenames, but this menu no longer exists.
Thanks,
Chris

Hi @c_sells,
If you are looking to update plotted curves in HyperGraph with a different input file, then you can use the Define Tool and change the file path shown:
This is also completed by saving a current session as a Report Template (TPL). After saving your template (File » Save As » TPL), when you open it (File » Session » Open) it will display all files originally used and the currently assigned ones:
This is a great way to save a report for post processing you complete regularly and update with new results as they become available.
Hope this helps!

Adam, I'm aware of the Define Curves and Template, but I don't see either as a substitute for the actual Replace Filenames tool. Define Curves only works on a single curve, so it would be terribly inefficient to use for several plots/curves. Using Template, as you stated, requires a complete Close/Open cycle which also seems like an unnecessary added complexity when there was already a tool to avoid this. I don't understand why this functionality was removed.
Is there any plan to bring back this lost functionality? I will probably go back to running HyperGraph in 2022.3 because along with Replace Filenames, the UI seems much easier to use and has much more functionality.0 -

Hi c_sells,
@Jason_Craanen is correct: using the Flexible Reports Tool (also under File » Session » Flexible Reports) will open that Report Template window so you do not need to close/reopen when you want to change the file paths.
Hope this helps!

Yes! That answers my question, thanks all! I'd love to add tools from the search to a custom ribbon so I don't have to use search every time. Not sure if that's possible or not, but regardless, this gets me going again.

Hi @c_sells,
Glad we could help. Please make sure to mark one of the comments as correct so others can quickly find this answer.
Unfortunately, the Custom ribbon can only be populated by dragging existing ribbon icons onto it. Since the Flexible Reports does not currently have its own icon, I don't think it can be added there.
Hope this helps!
