Contacts for MSC NASTRAN

Hello,

I need to convert TIE contact from Optistruct into a similar contact for MSC nastran and export in bdf format.

As far I understod, I created the contact surfaces with BSURF card, used that to create the contacts using BCONECT card, placed all this in a BCTABL1 card (with generic config).

The thing I didn't get is how to impose the type of contact (for instance the TIE). Do I have to create a property using BCONPRP or other cards? Is so, i cannot find any help page on how to set up the parameters of this card.

Can somebody help me?

it seems you created all entities by hand. Did you have any chance to create your contacts using the Auto Contact:

This should help you to set the proper type of contact

Also, as this pertains to setting up a specific contact in Nastran MSC, you should be able to find the answer in the Nastran MSC help.
