Design of Six-phase Motor

Hello everyone

I want to design a six-phase motor with winding configuration analysis and simulation of different types of faults. Can i design this in Flux motor and transfer it to Flux 2D for additional analysis? or is there another Altair product that can help me to archive this ?

Hi Harmony,

You can design a Multiphase PM machine Inner rotor and outer rotor using FluxMotor.

We have SM_PM_IR_nph and SM_PM_OR_nph motor which you can use to design and export it to Flux 2d for additional analysis.
