I'm doing an acoustic coupling analysis with OptiStrcut and the sound pressure values are negative. The analysis method I use is IE. Is it a correct result for analysis. Therefore, after conversion, the dB value is also a negative value.
Switch to db20, add 2e-11 for MPA or 2e-5 for PA as reference pressure value and rescale the curve. If the magnitude of the pressure is still negative, that means it is below the threshold value. In that case, you probably need to increase the excitation level.
