From the results of the multi-material optimization, the elements can be organized by material.

Hello,

I want to analyze multi-material structures that done multi-material topology optimization.

But, I can't display that structures in HM or HW as following paper.

How to display components separately by materials.

    Hi Keita,

To display by material in HyperView, you can review "By Material Type" for the contour to see each material in a single color.  To display the densities for each material, review "Element Densities" for the contour option.

To group the model by dominant material for each element, you can import the original .fem deck for the optimization in HyperMesh.  Run the TCL script created in the run directory called filename.HM.comp.tcl.  This groups the elements  by component for the materials.

    Thanks,

    Rob H.
