What are the units of the parameters/coefficients of the iron loss formula (materials, magnetic data)?

When recalculating with the calculator, I do not get the calculated values of FluxMotor. I would like to understand how the values are calculated. P represents the amount of iron losses per cubic meter according to the FluxMotor document. The coefficients are unitless, B in Tesla and f in Hertz. How do you end up with P/m^3?

Hi Ann-Sophie, 

Yes, the value calculated for P is in W/m^3. Not sure what you are comparing to. But, I guess it the is one shown when you use the fit function when you define the lamination. Which is in W/Kg. So you need to divide the calculated value by the material mass density.

About the second point, it was mentioned on the document that The formula used is not homogeneous with the units considered. Which is typical for this type of mathematical model to estimate iron losses.
