Naive Bayes Operator

I need to report the methods for my prediction model.

I used naive bayes operator and I just read that the naive bayes algorithm can be trained by maximum likelyhood.

Does anyone know if this occurs in the naive bayes operator or not?

The numeric parameters of the probability distribution in Naive Bayes model are estimated by maximum likelihood. It is detailed in this GitHub page. The theoretical background is nicely explained in The Naive Bayes Model, Maximum-Likelihood Estimation, and the EM Algorithm paper by Michael Collins.
