But I cannot find the 'contact manager' in the utility manager. There is no such button in there. I can open the contact browser from the tools menus. And I have made sure that Im using abaqus user profile. Why is there such a inconsistency between the software and the documentation. someone please help. Am i missing something ?

Thank you for your reply. I guess the documentation/tutorial is rendered completely useless then. It really makes it difficult for beginner learners in such a situation.
Im still suspecting im missing something. This article talks about 2022 version of hyperworks. Im using 2021.1 hypermesh. Anyways thank you for your help.
