How to calculate numeric start and numeric length

please try to not duplicate the threads
the first number is the position from where to begin to count for example if the string range1 you introduce 2 as the numeric start, you are positioning the pointer in the position 2, in this case the N letter.

With the second number, numeric length, you are indicating the lenght of the string that want to cut, for example if you introduce 2, you are extracting the string "NG", or if you introduce 4 you are extracting the string "NGE1"
