How do I mine data?

Hi all, I am struggling to achieve the results I'm looking for and was wondering if you could help. 
I have a set of data on tunnel failures with 7 parameters ranging from 'yes,'no' to numerical ranges. I would like to mine the data in a way that if I create my own 7 parameters (have my own tunnel) I would like to know the likelihood of a failure. How do set this model up?
