Dear forum experts,
I am new to rapidminer and i have tried creating an online rapidminer repository numerous times. I filled the credentials as written in the RM documentation tutorial, but it gives connection error, and sometimes says it cannot connect to the repository url. Also, i tried with the default localhost repository url, that didn't work either. Is that a feature of RM premium? Please suggest what can be done I am so confused.

Hi,
where are you creating the remote repository? You need a RapidMiner Server for that. Is that what you tried? Is it working in the browser?
There used to be a free Server that was limited in automatic process execution and web services, but good enough as a remote repository. If you are a researcher, you might be eligible for a free academic license.

Hi,
how did you try to setup the repository on a RM Server if you don't have access to it?
Here's the educational license program: https://rapidminer.com/educational-program/
