Constrainig evething but the rotation of the tangencial rotation of a cylinder in Simlab
Dear,
I am not sure if this is the correct way to constrain a cylindrical face trying to simulate a very simplified bearing connection in Simlab. The goal is to allow tangential turning and axial displacement.
I have done it this way. Constrained face in pink:
Is this right?
Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards.

you could work with a Cylindrical System, (r, theta, z) and then constraint r and leave theta and z free to move.
The way you're doing right now, it would actually constraint each individual node rotaiton ein Y and Z.
