I am having some trouble getting a valid solid map to hex mesh a part (of three). I did my initial splitting and want to mesh this curved base plate. On one side it has almost a figure eight outline for an extrusion with through hole feature going up. on the other side it has an outline of two circles that are extruded down with a through hole into an ellipse. The center of the through holes top to bottom line up. The radii of the bottom circles and the top circles making the figure eight shape are not the same. I have a feeling this is what is causing issues with mappability and I dont know how to easily resolve the paths? Any advice welcome. Example very crude figures attached. I am going for 4elem thick piece. imageimage
