Teradata conection for Studio 9.3

Anyone managed to create (successfully) a Teradata connection to Studio 9.3?

Why Teradata is not added in standard as a database connection like SQL server or Oracle?

As far as I know you should be able to use basic odbc connection for teradata access, hence why there is no real additional component required.

On the menu select connections - database connections and configure your odbc settings.
