Currently, automodel cannot distinguish time series data from regular data. You should be very cautious using Automodel on time series data as the results might be highly optimistic as it fails during backtesting data and carry some confounding relation on time. It can only handle time series data well incase proper time series data processing is applied like Windowing.
I recommend you watch time series data analysis webinars in RM.
