SAS Transport V5 format is considered "open" because the format has been published..

Does anyone have experience in reading / writing data in this SAS format with RM?

I don't have SAS and am hoping that I can use RMto manage these data sets.

Oops my bad. Its SAS sas7bdat. This is written in the product details and I don't see anything for V5 files. @sgenzer can you provide any insight on this if there is anything for SAS V5 format or workaround.

There is a SAS connector extension in rapidminer. You can install this from Market place. This will read SAS files.
