Freesize Composite Optimization - Response mass - understand .out-file

Hello,

i am running an composite optimization and I have defined a mass response.

I can get the resulting response value from the .out-file, but I am not sure If this is the value just for the optimized laminate or the overall weight (including the other components that are not defined to be optimized). Also I am not sure if the target value for the mass response (the value i defined as optimization constraint) is the overall or laminate weight constraint??

in the .out file you will see the mass for the total model, close to the 'Iteration #'.

 

If you have requested a mass response for a particular part, as a response, you can find its value under the retained responses table.
