Type of Nonlinear Stress output by NLGEOM & NLSTAT analysis

I am running geometric nonlinear analysis using NLGEOM (with NLELAST material model, true stress-strain data) in Optistruct ver.11 (ya, it's pretty old). May I know the nonlinear stress output by the solver is engineering stress/strain or true stress/strain.

 

Also, for NLSTAT, may I confirm whether the output is engineering stress/strain?

Hi Sataz,

 

HyperMesh does not convert anything. So if your input is engineering stress strain values then the output will be the same.
