Steel Bar analysis

I am modelling a steel OWSJ, and the web members are solid steel rods. S-steel isn't analyzing them in a code check. Is there any way to check them?

    Hi Matthew,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    What you are describing is possible, if you define a circular shape using the 'Shapes' button in the section properties dialogue.  Below are a few images that explain how this can be done for a circular section.

    When the model is analyzed, you can then go to S-STEEL and code check the section as well.
