Does PreStressed Modal Analysis considers the FEA results of previous nonlinear analysis results?

 

Below given are few cases:

Case 1:

Step 1 is Bolt preload
Step 2 is modal analysis STATSUB(PRETENS)=previous step

 

Case 2:

Step 1 is Interference Fit
Step 2 is Modal Analysis

 

Kindly guide me if there is any appropriate documentation available.

    For modal analysis you can use STATSUB(PRELOAD) option to carry stiffness change due to preload into your loadstep.
