I want to know the induced electromotive force generated from the search coil for the synchronous generator.
How can I design the seach coil in flux 2d?
Or can I set it up in the post processing?

I checked on internet about the search coil (see attached picture). If this what you want to do, there is a way to do it in case Flux 2D (see second image).

Hi there,
Search coil can be also know as "explorer coil" in the art of motors and generators. It is totally possible to model that kind of coil with Flux 2D; you only need to assign a solid conductor+resistor circuit to the two terminals of the coil.
