Filter Tokens （by POS tags) -- buggy?

I'm trying to Filter Tokens so i'm left with a set of just adjectives and nouns/entities.
The 'help' section says simply use the expression： JJ.* | N.*
This doesn't work. I can use JJ.* or N.* but I cannot combine them in the same filter tokens operater!
How to do?
