The same result in the analysis of two different models

Hi my Dear

Attached are two different models of front doors that have been tested for impact.

In one of the doors there is a piece of reinforcement and the other lacks it.

But the result of the stress analysis of both models is the same, while it should be different.

Please advise what is wrong with my work?(I thinkو I am wrong in defining the Interface Type7)

Bestregards

what do you mean by 'is the same'?

    could you be more specific?

You say that just because the maximum values are similar?

They happen in different places (Shell 17486 and shell 191679).

Contour of the outer panel should look similar, as it is the same pole, at least the lower part.

I would just review if the contact is taking into account the right nodes/elements ('review' in contact).

Have you checked displacements as well?

    Hi My Dear

My mean of 'is the same', the Boundray condition (SPC,Pole Speed, ...) are the same in two model.

The only difference between the two models is that there is no reinforcement(without SDB.side impact beam) in one model and the other have reinforcement part.

I expect the stresses in the two models to be different وBut that did not happen.

    Thank you

Just by your legend it can be noticed that even though higher stress values are similar, they are presented in different elements.

It is hard to identify if there's soething wrong with your model only by these pictures.

you should be taking a look at plastic strains, displacements, and also stress values.

    Locally they might be different.

    hi my dear

The Plastic Strains are diffrent. but my goal is

    Decrease Displacement(Intrusion) -Intrusion cylander Speed : 8000 mm/s

Although one of the models has a reinforcement part installed(Side Beam Crash), but the amount of displacement is the same in both models.

    best regards
