hi,

for thin datasets, I have heard from data augmentation, e.g.  creating data from existing data, It is applied with statistical techniques to create new data base on mean, variance, etc. of the attributes from the original data.

does there exist a similar operator to create augmented data based on some example set in Rapidminer?

    hello @Fred12

Data augmentation should be possible with Rapidminer,

For things like average, median, standard deviation, variance and many more the Aggregate operator can be very handy/

There are other speciality operators like aggregation, products etc and

Also there are advanced operators for feature generation, under Optimization>>feature Generation group that can be considered for your case.

    Hope this gets you started
