RapidMiner Server Connections Disappeared

We have four connections to MongoDB set up in RapidMiner server running Ubuntu 12.04.5. This morning our server processes failed and research showed none of the connections appeared in the RapidMiner server web admin interface. We restarted the RapidMiner server process, and the connections reappeared. Now, later in the day, the connections have again disappeared, and we have restarted both RapidMiner server process and even the entire Ubuntu server, but the connections are still lost.

Our nosql extension is: rmx_nosql-ANY-6.1.1.jar
RapidMiner server: 2.4

Help! Please let me know what other information you need to facilitate troubleshooting this.
