count the number of repetitions of an attribute

I need to count the number of repetitions of an attribute. This is real.

my attribute:

row      ITEM (Count)
1            1
2            1
3            1
4            2
5            3
6            3
...          ...

I like this

row  Item    count
1        1          3
2        2          1
3        3          2
...      ...        ...

simply use aggregate with count on ITEM and Group by ITEM.
