...for a fraction in Rapidminer Server?

In Studio, you just do it in the preferences by changing the value for rapidminer.general.fractiondigits.number , but adding this property in the "system settings" page doesn't seem to change anything.

Any help gratefully received.

Try to use Format Numbers Operator. Choose the format type as pattern. In the 'pattern' field, set the decimal places as example: 0.00
