As a service to the community, I thought I would write it down in one place...

How to get started with RapidMiner Server.

OK - it's Ubuntu - other operating systems will work as well.

Great work.  Pretty easy for beginners to follow IMO.  The part were you stop and restart the server after installing the plugins you might want to explicitly state you pressed CNTRL C to stop the server as it's the only part that's a little unclear.

    Hi There,
    I am getting nuts...
I tried to install RMS 2.2.0 via shell on a redhat system...
I use the RMS_Installer.xml I have vcreated on a windows system...
I have copied the xml and the whole structure from windows to the Redhat sstem in one folder...
    It now looks like:
    /home/Me/rapidminerserver/
              /bin
              /data
              /lib
              RMS_Installer.xml

when I now start the script that is included in /bin folder by:
    ./rapidminer-server-installer RMS_Installer.xml
the first exeption is, that a "LICENSE.txt is not found...
SEVERE: An error occured! Installation failed!
    java.nio.file.AccessDeniedException: /home/Me/rapidminerserver/LICENSE.txt
I guess the path to the JBOSS folder is not correct...
Is there any detailed instruction, how to install RMS from shell?

    Thanks a lot!

    Bernd

As far as I know our support team is in touch with you to help you.

We are currently working on a guide which will be published on http://docs.rapidminer.com/

Yes, I had some discussions with Sebastian, he told me that someone will help me in the afternoon, but I thought, increasing the sources of help will bring me faster to a running system ;-)
Didn't know, that the support team here is the same as it is at RM itself...
    Thanks a lot!!!
