[SOLVED] Cannot switch to result tab

First I'm in design tab. Everything looks good.

Then when I run the process the program has a weird UI bug and stay freeze on the design tab.

When I try to switch to the result BOOM everything disappear.

Then after I move my cursor around some buttons reappear but not the result i want to see.

Everything was going fine before this happened for the first time.
I think I didn't do anything wrong accept I was using the breakpoint for the first time too just before this happened.
I tried to run other processes but all give the same result as this.

Running on Windows 7 64-bit
After I restart PC, the problem still exist.

So how can I fix this?

Hi,

can you please go to your USER_HOME/.RapidMiner folder and post the contents of the rapidminer-studio.log when this happens?

I have a suspicion what's causing it but I want to make sure its the same problem. If it is what I suspect it is, then this bug will be fixed with the next release. A workaround for the time being should be to close Studio, go to your .RapidMiner folder and delete the "vlperspective-predefined-result.xml" file, then start Studio again.

Do I have to avoid anything to prevent this from happening again?

Hi,

not really, no. It's sort of random unfortunately. If it happens again, just delete the file again. The next release should fix this issue for good.

I'm having this issue too. However deleting the predefined results xml file doesn't seem to help my issue. I have attached my process xml file. and I have similar iterations of this process with slight modifications for different "Filter-Examples" settings. Everytime I run this process, the issue with the non-displaying of results reappears. I have used store operators so that I can go back and view my results. But once this issue appears, I cannot even view my stored results. Please help. Thank you.
