What means Series in Series Plugin?

Hi all,

I want to begin some Time Series analysis, then I found there is a plugin "Series" which can deal with time series. I found that, RapidMiner is also its vendor. So I post the question here:

I can not understand what means "series" in this plugin.

For example the operator "Data to Series", it has 2 parameter, but there are no further explaination any more. I have no idea, what means the two parameter "transformation mode" and "series attribute", also the output is also very strange, there is no data, just "statistics", "Charts", Single values View".

Can you give me a detailed example about the "series"?
