Normalization and (time) series
Hi,
I used tableau to illustrate different types of normalizations (as used in RapidMiner) for various blood tests (with different units and scales): https://public.tableau.com/profile/sven.van.poucke#!/vizhome/LineChart_8/Dashboard1
The measurements are done on 3 time points. The normalizations are calculated per test for 3 time points and per time point for 53 tests.
2 Questions: What is the normalization that should be used scientifically and where can I find literature on which normalization techniques used in RapidMiner with the pros and cons in different circumstances.
